Safety & Guided Access

Guided Access is Apple’s system feature. You start and end it yourself. lizlo cannot switch it on or off.

Before you start

Emergency Services and Crash Detection are unavailable while Guided Access is active.

Do not start a lock when you may need immediate access to your phone or are responsible for someone who may need urgent help. lizlo is not an emergency service.

Set up Guided Access in iPhone Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access. Know your authentication method and exit steps before a session. Do not test by making an emergency call or triggering SOS.

Start Guided Access

Triple-click the Side Button (or Home button, if present). Choose Guided Access if asked, then tap Start if shown.

End or pause Guided Access

  1. On iOS 18 or earlier, double-click the Side Button (or Home button, if present). On iOS 26 or later, triple-click that button.
  2. Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID or your Guided Access passcode.
  3. Choose Guided Access if asked, then tap End.

End Guided Access first if you need Emergency Services or Crash Detection. The system exit does not depend on lizlo, support assistance, network access or payment approval.

When the timer reaches 0:00

Guided Access is still on. Timer zero does not turn it off. Use the same Apple exit steps to end Guided Access after completing a session.

Cancellation, arming timeout, a system-only exit and ambiguous failures remain non-chargeable. Finishing releases a hold; a requested release is distinct from provider confirmation. CA$0 focus remains available and this build cannot collect real money. Capture is unavailable.
